Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Have the Cutest Met Gala Date Night

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra kind of have the Met Gala to thank for their romance. Way back in 2016, Jonas slid into Chopra's DMs, and she wasn't sure if she should give him a chance. One of the moments that made her change her mind? When they both attended the 2017 Met Gala, dressed by designer Ralph Lauren. They traveled to the event together, sat together, and started to bond. The rest is history.

On May 1, Chopra and Jonas made a big splash once again on the Met Gala red carpet. The couple — who married in late 2018 and share daughter Malti Marie — were all smiles as they giggled together for photographers. Both wore black and white in a nod to the night's Karl Lagerfeld theme, and they stayed close together as they smiled for the cameras.

Both Chopra and Jonas have very full plates right now. Chopra's new Amazon Prime Video series, "Citadel," premiered on the streamer at the end of April, and on Friday, her new film "Love Again" hits theaters. The movie's trailer teased that Jonas has a cameo, too. Jonas, meanwhile, is gearing up for the new Jonas Brothers album, titled "The Album," which is set to be released May 12.

In a recent interview, Chopra got candid about how the couple juggle their careers, their relationship, and being loving parents. She told Elle for the magazine's May digital issue that she and Jonas are naturally good at splitting responsibilities, saying, "I don't remember having a conversation where I'm like, 'I need you to do more of this.' We both have careers that are important to us, so we split our time in a way where one of us is able to do the house things or be with the baby." She added that it's important to her that Malti can and does "go anywhere" with her parents. "It was very important to us to be able to expose her to just life and its beautiful gifts," she said.
