I Made My Own Maternity Jeans!
OK, so I know these in no way compare to designer maternity jeans, but since I'll only be wearing them for a couple months (Spring is coming soon and that means skirts and dresses!), I thought I'd save my dough and make some of my own. I converted a pair of my old jeans by cutting off the top and attaching an elastic waistband. Not too bad right? And see my little baby bump? At four months along, the little one is the size of a turnip now!

Post a CommentCute! Unfortunately, my thighs only fit in a couple pairs of my pre-preg jeans.
Great idea though. Those should hold you over until it's warm enough for leggings and maxi dresses.
I'm so impressed! Nice work!
they look great - i'm about to send you my jeans!

good job!!
I'm impressed too! You did a great job. What a smart thing to DIY! And you look fantastic too
Nice! My biggest complaint with maternity jeans is how loose they are in the butt and thighs. Must be nice to have a pair that's fitted!!
Smart! I wish I had done that. But I didn't wear jean when I was preggo. I was teaching Pilates full time and was lucky to wear sweats every day.
you're so cute! good job! and you're right, you won't need them for long, not to mention by the time the baby is born, you may want to throw those on again for comfort since it will be getting cooler
Love your bump! (I'm only 8 weeks - I want a bump!)
I myself love your bump too...I am only 11 weeks and look like i've eaten way to many doughnuts! AND loving your maternity jeans...I might have to give it a try.
Cute! I am going to try when my bump appears, I am only 6 weeks along now!
